Technical meeting and tactical drills, next session on Thursday morning

The Sampdoria squad trained across both pitches at the Mugnaini earlier ahead of Saturday night’s match against Roma. After a technical meeting in the video room, Marco Giampaolo and his staff ran a group practical session before splitting the squad by position to work on tactics.

Five members of the Primavera took part in the session in the shape of Ibourahima Balde, Mario Curito, Gergely Hutvagner, Joao Claudio Gomes Ricciulli and Andrea Tessiore. Joachim Andersen trained separately after returning from international duty with Denmark Under-21s. Injured Dodo meanwhile did fitness work on the pitch.

The team will train next on Thursday morning. The session will not be open to the general public due to health and safety measures relating to the refurbishment work of the training ground.
