Samp at the double on Tuesday ahead of Roma fixture. Afternoon session on Wednesday
The Blucerchiati began ramping up their preparations for Saturday’s big match against Roma with a double session at the training ground on Tuesday.
In the morning Marco Giampaolo had the squad split up into groups according to position for technical and tactical work.
Forward Ibourahima Balde, midfielder Andrea Tessiore (both from the U19s) and U17 left-back Simone Giordano joined in, as well as Primavera right-back Michal Tomic and goalkeeper Gergely Hutvagner, with the latter two taking part in the afternoon as well.
Polish duo Bartosz Bereszynski and Karol Linetty returned to the fold after lunch, as did Edgar Barreto and Emiliano Viviano.
In the second session of the day, the coaching staff put the players through some warm-up exercises, tactical drills and a training game.
Dodo Pires meanwhile pushed on with his personalised rehabilitation programme.
Sampdoria will train in the afternoon on Wednesday. The session will once again be closed to the public due to ongoing renovation work at the training ground.
