Training resumes at the Mugnaini. Medical tests followed by technical and tactical work

After two rest days the Sampdoria squad returned for training in Bogliasco, with Joachim Andersen, Bartosz Bereszynski, Dawid Kownacki, Titas Krapikas and Karol Linetty away on international duty.

The players had cardiopulmonary tests on Tuesday morning, which was followed in the afternoon by a technical and tactical session on the main pitch. Emiliano Viviano worked alongside his fellow goalkeepers, who were joined by Giacomo Piccardo from the Primavera.

Dodo Pires continued his journey towards recovery with treatment interspersed with time on the exercise bike and running. Meanwhile Edgar Barreto underwent treatment and physiotherapy.

Samp boss Marco Giampaolo has scheduled an afternoon training session for Thursday. The session will not be open to the public, due to the ongoing refurbishing work at the training ground.
