Sampdoria ended their summer training camp with a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Hellas Verona, Mattia Zaccagni netting the only goal of the game five minutes from time.
The team will now enjoy two days off before returning to training on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday’s match against Manchester United in Dublin.
