Double session in Temu; old faces pop by for a visit

After a day off yesterday, Sampdoria got back to training today with sessions in the morning and afternoon.

The squad were split into positions in the morning for tactical work, while after lunch the focus was more on technique and fitness. Everyone was involved, barring Emiliano Viviano who continued his individual recovery programme.

A pair of club legends stopped by for a surprise visit to brighten up the day: one from yesteryear and the other from the very recent past: striker Luis Muriel and ex-skipper Sergio Volpi spent their time in Ponte di Legno chatting with former team-mates, staff and directors and wishing Marco Giampaolo’s squad a fantastic season ahead.
