Double session for the Blucerchiati as Di Carlo visits the camp

Sampdoria had another double training session in Ponte di Legno on Tuesday.

In the morning, Marco Giampaolo and his staff led the squad through an intense tactics session after a warm-up in the gym. Filip Djuricic and Dodo Pires were both absent in order to arrange their documentation for the upcoming match against Swansea. The two players joined back up with the squad during the afternoon session, which included fitness drills and work on both tactics and technique.

Edgar Barreto returned to group training after recovering from flu, while Nicola Murru split his session between the gym and pitch and Emiliano Viviano continued working on his recovery plan.

Former Samp boss Mimmo Di Carlo and his coaching team were in Ponte di Legno to observe both sessions.

Doria will have a single training session on Wednesday.
