Schick and Skriniar join Fernandes and Linetty at European Under-21 Championship

Milan Skriniar and Patrik Schick could end up on opposing sides at the European Under-21 Championship, having joined up with their respective national sides. The defender will feature for Slovakia, who have been drawn in Group A, while the forward will represent Czech Republic, in Group C.

The Samp duo join Karol Linetty, representing Poland, and Portugal’s Bruno Fernandes, in Group A and B respectively. The competition will take place from 16 to 30 June.

There will be a Blucerchiati derby on the opening day in Group A, with Slovakia set to take on Poland at 20:45 CEST. On 19 June, Skriniar’s team will play England (18:00 CEST), before facing Sweden on 22 June (20:45 CEST).

Meanwhile, Czech Republic will begin their campaign against Germany on 18 June (18:00 CEST). They will then face Italy on 21 June (18:00 CEST), before their last group match against Denmark on 24 June (20:45 CEST).
