Friday focus on Chievo tactics. News conference on Saturday

The Blucerchiati were back in Bogliasco on Friday morning for another training session in preparation for the upcoming match against Chievo.

After a warm-up, the players had a training game focusing on Sunday’s opponents then did some tactical drills and finished off with set-piece practice.

President Massimo Ferrero popped in towards the end to pay the team a visit.

With Bartosz Bereszynski (personalised training), Angelo Palombo and Emiliano Viviano (physio) unavailable, the coach drafted in U17 goalkeeper Gergely Hutvagner and U19 right-back Michal Tomic to work with the first team.

The squad will train again on Saturday morning before Marco Giampaolo sits down with the media to preview the match. As usual, we’ll have live updates on Twitter around 13:00 CEST followed by highlights on Samp TV a little later.
