Positional work in Bogliasco today, full squad session tomorrow

Marco Giampaolo and his coaching staff split up the Blucerchiati squad into positions for training today: first goalkeepers and defenders, then midfielders and attackers.

The defence began the working day at the Centro Sportivo Mugnani, focusing on tactical and technical drills after a warm-up. Bruno Fernandes and Daniel Pavlovic, the last to come back from international duty, had a recovery session in the morning as well.

The attacking players went through a similar programme in the afternoon, tailored to their positions. Patrik Schick had his first session back after an injury to his right ankle, while Luis Muriel continued his return to fitness in the treatment room.

Today as well saw a contingent of Primavera players training with the senior squad, Pietro Cavagnaro, Jacopo Cioce, Roberto Criscuolo, Maxime Leverbe, Alessio Scatolini, Andrea Tessiore and Giacomo Vrioni all measuring themselves against the first team.

The full Samp squad will train together tomorrow afternoon.
