Split session for Samp, afternoon training on Thursday

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugniani on Wednesday to continue their preparations for Sunday’s visit of Cagliari.

The midfielders and forwards trained separately on the main pitch in the morning, focusing on the technical and tactical aspects of attacking play. Primavera youngster Jacopo Cioce joined in with the first-team squad.

After lunch, it was the turn of the defenders to work out on the upper pitch. Cioce was again involved, as were fellow Primavera players Roberto Criscuolo and Andrea Tessiore.

Samp will train again on Thursday afternoon.
