Sky’s the limit for Muriel: “We can climb high, let’s add consistency to these wins”
Luis Muriel was in a cheerful mood after breaking Sampdoria’s hoodoo against AC Milan, a team that the Colombian striker had never previously scored against in Serie A.
“I’m pleased about the result, my goal and everything that we’re doing in general,” he said to Samp TV. “We’re picking up what we deserved before. We’re able to deal with the pressure, put the hard yards in and stay in the game. This is how we always play and we’re capable of scoring at any moment.”
The fixture list makes for nicer reading after overcoming the major obstacles of Roma and Milan.
“If we can get it into our heads, we can climb very high,” insisted the Blucerchiati No.9. “What we need to do now is add consistency to these results, taking full advantage of the two back-to-back home games against Bologna and Cagliari.”
