Ferrero pops into training as Samp crank up for Roma contest on Sunday
Tactics were the order of the day when Marco Giampaolo’s Blucerchiati reported in for duty at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Friday ahead of Sunday’s visit of Roma to Marassi, a 15:00 CET kick-off.
After a session in the video room, the players moved outside to warm up before getting stuck into a series of technical and tactical drills.
President Massimo Ferrero watched on from the sidelines as the coach put the squad through their paces, with academy kids Ibourahima Balde, Jacopo Cioce, Andrea Tessiore, Michal Tomic and Giacomo Vrioni making up the numbers.
Jacopo Sala continues to have treatment and physio while Stanley Amuzie and Carlos Carbonero combined aerobic work with drills on fitness and technique on the main pitch.
Samp will train once again on Saturday morning before Marco Giampaolo sits down with the media to preview the Serie A Week 22 clash with Luciano Spalletti’s side.
As usual, you can catch live updates from the press room on Twitter from around 13:00 CET and watch a video recap on sampdoria.it shortly afterwards.
