The Blucerchiati were out on the top pitch at the Mugnaini on Friday morning to push on with preparations for Sunday’s game against Empoli.

The bulk of the session saw the team work on tactical drills and dead-ball situations, with Matias Silvestre and academy goalie Giacomo Piccardo joining in with the rest of the squad.

Carlos Carbonero and Jacopo Sala continued with their respective recovery plans while Emiliano Viviano did personalised work.

The players will train again on Saturday morning before Marco Giampaolo sits down with the media around 13:00 CET to preview Sunday’s match against his former club.
