De Biasi full of praise for Giampaolo after Samp visit

Albania head coach Gianni De Biasi has spoken in glowing terms of Marco Giampaolo after visiting Sampdoria this week.

De Biasi, who helped Albania qualify for their first major tournament when he guided them to Euro 2016, has spent the last couple of days observing the Blucerchiati boss at work on the training ground.

“I asked Marco if I could come along to watch a few training sessions and I’m glad I did because he’s an excellent coach,” De Biasi told Samp TV.

“He pays a lot of attention to tactical aspects and getting the team’s balance right.

“Samp are already doing well and I’m sure their work on the training ground will pay off in the business end of the season.”
