Full complement in Bogliasco for first session of the year. Double training on Tuesday

After enjoying a day off to see in the new year, the Blucerchiati reported back for duty on Monday to start gearing up for Saturday’s visit to Napoli.

Edgar Barreto joined the group who came in for a morning session, which included injury-prevention work in the gym, rondos and some training games interspersed with aerobic drills.

Emiliano Viviano began training with the other goalies again today as he ups his recovery programme.

Milan Skriniar did personalised work both before and after lunch while Jacopo Sala had treatment and worked in the pool.

Karol Linetty was excused from training with flu.

There was a light workout in the afternoon for Ricardo Alvarez, Stanley Amuzie, Matias Silvestre, Lucas Torreira and Luis Muriel following their long-haul flights back to Italy.

Carlos Carbonero and Dodo Pires are due back on Tuesday, when a double training session is planned for the whole squad.
