Schick only half happy: “Happy with the goal, disappointed about the result”

Sampdoria’s line-up featured a number of promising young players this evening, including Patrik Schick whose second-half goal momentarily sparked hopes of a comeback.

“I’m pleased with the goal and having been chosen in the first XI,” the Czech striker said to Samp TV after the game, “but I’m disappointed about the result.

“Juventus are a strong side and they began really well. We have to be ready on Sunday against Inter, as we’ll be facing another really good team. With our crowd behind us, we will win.”
