Training continues ahead of Pescara, Muriel returns to Bogliasco
Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Thursday morning to continue their preparations for Saturday’s trip to Pescara.
After an initial warm-up, the Blucerchiati focused on tactical drills before rounding the session off with a practice game.
Dodo Pires returned to group training, while Luka Krajnc, Milan Skriniar, Bruno Fernandes and Patrik Schick had lighter sessions, as did Edgar Barreto and Angelo Palombo (who is suffering with lower back pain).
Emiliano Viviano was given the day off from training as a precaution as he has a cold.
Luis Muriel – the last of the international contingent to return – had a recovery session in Bogliasco this afternoon.
