Budimir hits hat-trick against Samp U19s. Pescara prep starts on Monday
Ante Budimir was the star of the show as Sampdoria rounded off the week with a 3-0 win against the Blucerchiati U19s in a training match on Saturday morning.
The Croatian forward scored all three goals – one in the first half and two in the second – during the hour-long match, as president Massimo Ferrero, Antonio Romei and sporting director Carlo Osti watched on from the sidelines.
Carlos Carbonero came through the second half, playing with the Primavera team, as he continues to step up his recovery programme.
Jacopo Sala took a heavy blow to the back towards the end of the game but it appears to be nothing serious.
Meanwhile Emiliano Viviano, Daniel Pavlovic, Edgar Barreto and Mirko Eramo all trained separately.
The squad will rest on Sunday before reporting back to the training ground on Monday afternoon with minds focused on next Saturday’s visit to Pescara.
