Training resumes at the Mugnaini, double session scheduled for Thursday

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Wednesday morning after enjoying a two-day rest following the draw with Palermo.

Senior internationals Karol Linetty, Luis Muriel and Patrik Schick, U21s Luka Krajnc, Milan Skriniar, Bruno Fernandes and Dennis Praet and U19s Titas Krapikas and Pedro Pereira were absent from the session as they focus on qualification and friendly matches in various parts of the world.

The squad kicked things off in the gym, before heading to the upper pitch for a range of technique drills and tactics exercises.

Mirko Eramo sat the session out with mild flu, while Daniel Pavlovic continued working on his personalised recovery plan.

The Blucerchiati have a double session planned for Thursday.
