Recovery session in groups for Samp, morning workout on Sunday
Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were straight back to work at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Saturday morning after Friday night’s 1-0 loss to AC Milan.
The coach split the Blucerchiati up into two groups, those involved against the Rossoneri having a recovery session in the gym and pool while the rest of the squad worked on tactics and practice games on the upper pitch.
Jacopo Sala received physiotherapy treatment on the left thigh injury he picked up during the match with AC Milan, as the medical team await the results of his scan.
Daniel Pavlovic was on the massage table for some attention on his left knee, while Andrea Tozzo and Carlos Carbonero continued working on their individual recovery plans.
Samp will have another training session on Sunday morning as they step up preparations for Wednesday’s trip to Bologna.
