Amuzie introduces himself: “It’s a dream come true to be a Sampdoria player”

He may be built like a double-decker bus, but Stanley Amuzie is just 20 years old and overflows with the infectious enthusiasm of youth.

“I’m very, very happy to be here,” the new Doria defender, who is fresh from winning a bronze medal at the Rio Olympics with Nigeria, told Samp TV. “I want to thank my agent, the staff and all the fans for letting me be one of you. I’ve dreamed of being a Blucerchiati player for a long time.”

Amuzia also gave a few hints as to what the Samp fans can expect from him on the pitch: “I’m a left-back and my role model is Marcelo.”
