Blucerchiati given afternoon off, next session on Saturday morning

Marco Giampaolo has given his Sampdoria squad the afternoon off after they completed their fifth session in 48 hours at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini in Bogliasco on Friday morning.

The Blucerchiati kicked this morning’s session off with a warm-up before moving onto a series of fitness drills. The squad then dedicated the rest of the session to tactics.

Daniel Pavlovic had a tailored resistance session in the gym, while Carlos Carbonero continued working on his personalised recovery plan – though he did join in with his team-mates for the first half of the session. Goalkeeper Andrea Tozzo received more treatment.

Samp will be back in training on Saturday morning.
