Double session split between the gym, the cage and the upper pitch

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini in Bogliasco on Thursday for a double training session.

With Milan Skriniar, Bruno Fernandes, Luka Krajnc, Karol Linetty, Dennis Praet, Luis Muriel and Patrik Schick all away on international duty, the rest of the squad split into groups for the morning session, alternating between time in the gym and high-press matches in the cage.

In the afternoon, Giampaolo put his squad through a series of technical drills before focusing on fitness, tactics and practice games.

The Blucerchiati have another double session tomorrow.
