Training intensifies ahead of Empoli trip, Giampaolo news conference on Saturday

Marco Giampaolo’s Blucerchiati squad were at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Friday afternoon to continue their preparations for Sunday’s Serie A curtain-raiser away at Empoli.

After an initial warm-up, a full Samp squad focused on a series of technique-based exercises before moving onto tactical drills.

Samp will be back at the training ground on Saturday morning, while Giampaolo will hold his pre-match news conference at 13:00 CEST (entry for media personnel from 12:45 CEST). Follow it live on Twitter and Samp TV!
