Budimir remains grounded after Camp Nou strike: “I want to keep learning”

Sampdoria may have been edged out by Barcelona in the Gamper Trophy but Ante Budimir knows the Blucerchiati held their own against the Spanish champions.

Speaking after smashing in Samp’s second goal of the night at Camp Nou, the 25-year-old was clearly satisfied with his team’s performance.

“We lost to a fantastic side with superb players but we showed some good things of our own,” Budimir told Samp TV.

“I want to keep learning and give my all for this team.”
