Morning session on strength, sprinting and tactical drills at the Stadio Ottolenghi

Sampdoria loosened up this morning ahead of tonight’s friendly against Francesco Pedone’s Primavera at the Stadio Jona Ottolenghi.

Marco Giampaolo divided the squad into two groups: both underwent strengthening and sprinting drills before exercises on defensive tactics for the first group and then work in attack for the second. Playmakers Luca Cigarini, Angelo Palombo and Lucas Torreira were present throughout.

Leandro Castan, Jose Campana and Carlos Carbonero all worked individually.

The game in Acqui Terme – the Blucerchiati’s fourth friendly in pre-season – kicks off at 20:30 CEST this evening. Tickets cost €10 but under-12s get in free.
