Tactics, tactics and more tactics – that was the programme for Sampdoria on what turned out to be a wet Tuesday at their mountain training camp.

Working first in the morning and again in the afternoon, Marco Giampaolo and the coaching staff guided the Blucerchiati through a series of drills aimed at improving team cohesion.

Doria are set to train again on Wednesday morning ahead of their second friendly of the season later in the day. Lega Pro outfit Feralpisalo will provide the opposition for a 17:30 CEST kick-off at the training centre in Temu.
