Ferrero pays visit as Giampaolo puts troops through another double workout

There’s no rest for the wicked as the Blucerchiati continue to ratchet up their pre-season preparations, with Marco Giampaolo and the coaching staff putting the squad through their paces both morning and afternoon on Wednesday.

The day’s first sitting saw the lads do personalised warm-up work and tactical drills in groups while after lunch the team moved up to the top pitch for a series of training games with a specific focus.

President Massimo Ferrero popped in with sporting director Carlo Osti to survey proceedings in the afternoon.

There’ll be more of the same on Thursday, with another double training session planned at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini.
