Sampdoria and Macron unveil 2021/22 away jersey

UC Sampdoria and technical sponsor Macron have unveiled the Blucerchiati’s away jersey for the 2021/22 season, completing the suite of match kits developed by the Italian sportswear brand for Samp.

The white away shirt with knitted, three-button mandarin collar features a diagonal sash incorporating the unmistakeable club colours in the traditional order: blue, white, red, black, white and blue. The sash runs from left to right but breaks off in the centre of the shirt, giving way to a crest featuring the Cross of Saint George, the symbol of the city of Genoa and an ever-present on Sampdoria’s jerseys.

The back of the neck features the club colour and the slogan “La maglia più bella del mondo” [The best jersey in the world], while the silhouette of the Baciccia – the other club symbol – is printed on the outside of the collar at the rear. The Macron Hero logo in blue is printed on the right breast in silicon, while the official club crest has pride of place on the left side, over the sash.

The away shorts are in royal blue with a drawstring in the same colour and white tips, plus white stripes with detailing in the club colours at the sides. Completing the away kit are royal blue socks with stripes in white, red, black and white, the Macron Hero logo on the front and the wording U.C. SAMPDORIA on the calf.

The slim-fit jerseys are made predominantly from a material called softlock, with the addition of micromesh inserts to ensure optimum breathability.
