Faggiano: “The wait is finally over. At last I can get to work at Samp”

New Sampdoria sporting director Daniele Faggiano is looking forward to the challenge ahead with the Blucerchiati.

“It’s been a long wait but my experience at Sampdoria has finally begun,” said Faggiano, speaking from the club’s pre-season training camp in Temu. “I want to thank president Ferrero for asking me to work with him. I’ll be working closely with Carlo Osti, who I’ve known for a long time, and I’m pleased to be linking back up with Roberto D’Aversa. Like me, and like everyone I’ve met here so far, he has a great work ethic. I’d like to say hello to the fans and ask that they continue to support us the way they always have done.”
