U.C. Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero has announced that the U.C. Sampdoria shareholders meeting took place in Rome on Friday.

The Assembly thanked departing board members Vanessa Ferrero, Giorgio Ferrero and Andrea Diamanti for their work and subsequently appointed a new Board of Directors, as shown below:

Massimo Ferrero (president);
Antonio Romei (vice president);
Paolo Fiorentino (deputy vice-president), a specialist in the banking sector and the current CEO of Banca Progetto SpA;
Gianluca Tognozzi, criminal lawyer, member of supervisory bodies of private and public organisations;
Adolfo Praga, accountant, member of the Board of Directors of Clinica Montallegro and other businesses in Liguria;
Paolo Repetto, doctor and health professional, currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Istituto Giannina Gaslini, previously a city councillor for Genoa;
Giovanni Invernizzi, former player who spent 13 seasons at Sampdoria and won the Scudetto with the club, currently in charge of the Sampdoria youth academy.
