Fans turn out to celebrate Samp-Vis Pesaro partnership

Swathes of fans of both teams turned out in Pesaro, on the east coast of Italy, for the official presentation of Sampdoria’s technical partnership with Vis Pesaro, who have achieved promotion to Serie C after 13 years away.

Massimo Ferrero and sporting director Carlo Osti were welcomed to the town by mayor Matteo Ricci, as well as club presidents Marco Ferri and Roberto Bizzocchi, and other members of the club’s leadership.

As detailed during the celebration, Samp’s most promising youth players will get game time for Vis Pesaro under the partnership, allowing them to gain experience and continue their development. The two clubs will also collaborate as part of Sampdoria’s Next Generation project.
