FIFA eClub World Cup dream is over
Sampdoria’s eSports adventure in the qualifiers for the FIFA eClub World Cup has come to an end. A decent display in Week Four by Mattia Lonewolf92 Guarracino and Ditmir48 Alimi was not quite enough to take our bid for a place at the FIFA 2020 eClub World Cup to the final day. The dream has come to an end in a rather unfortunate fashion, with the players knowing that a win in the final head-to-head with Parma would have delayed the verdict until what could have been a pivotal weekend. The result means the Gialloblu finish in Tier 1 and we would like to wish them all the best next weekend. It is a shame for our boys, but we will bounce back.
