Club Legends: Seedorf, a rising star at Sampdoria in 1995/96
Not everyone remembers that Sampdoria were the first Italian club Clarence Seedorf played for. The talented midfielder was just 19 when he joined from Ajax in 1995 but his class was already clear to see as he dazzled the Marassi faithful with his skills. He moved to Real Madrid after one season and went on to become the only footballer to win the Champions League with three different clubs.
Dugout has selected the best bits from his year at Sampdoria – 32 appearances and three cracking goals – for you to enjoy.
Happy birthday, Clarence!
