“Letter from Amsterdam”: a love song for Sampdoria

Ever wondered what the story is behind the song played at Marassi before every Samp home game? It’s called “Letter from Amsterdam” and was written as a tribute to all the fans who support Sampdoria from afar.

The song used to be reserved for European games – matches we hope to experience again but will need to perform well on the pitch to earn, starting on Sunday.
