Dugout: Murru, the rising star of Giampaolo’s Sampdoria 3.0
He might play like a veteran, but Nicola Murru is only 24 years old.
Having made his Serie A debut before his 18th birthday, Murru has already made a century of appearances in the league and – after a year spent adapting to the side – the Sardinian is now making a name for himself as one of the most interesting players in Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria 3.0.
Murri’s improvement has not gone unobserved by Dugout, who have included the full-back in their Rising Stars playlist. What better way to celebrate his birthday?
