Sampdoria eSports Cup Pro Edition: Ajax, Levante, Sporting to take on Lonewolf!

eSports is coming to Genoa! Some of Europe’s best gamers are set to descend on the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on 30 May to do battle in the first Sampdoria eSports Cup Pro Edition.

Our very own Mattia Lonewolf92 Guarracino will be defending the Samp colours in a FIFA 17 tournament involving eSports stars from Ajax, Levante and Sporting Lisbon. Kick-off is at 17:00 CEST.

Lonewolf will take on Koen Weijland (5x Dutch champion, 1x Leader World Ranking), Sporting’s Rafael “Rafa” Nunes (a finalist at the latest Lion Games) and Alberto Requena Sempere, aka Rekegol, Levante’s captain in the VFO league.

And of course, Samp TV and our international Twitter account @sampdoria_en will be there to record all the action!

The PlayStations are ready and the trophy awaits, but who will take home the prize?

Alongside the pro tournament there’ll be an amateur edition open to everyone – a repeat of the tournament held on 25 April.

Plenty of gamers have already signed up and who can blame them? How often do you get the chance to rub shoulders with FIFA stars?

Who knows, there may even be a match-up between the amateur winner and the Pro Edition champion!
