Palombo and Sala back in the squad to face Lazio

Sampdoria went up to the top pitch in Bogliasco on Saturday morning to run through their final preparations for the match against Lazio.

After warming up and doing some technical and tactical drills, the Blucerchiati then rehearsed various set pieces.

Niklas Moisander followed an individual programme while Carlos Carbonero (in Barcelona), Antonio Cassano and David Ivan continued their recovery plans as they work their way back to full fitness.

These four players, together with the suspended Andrea Ranocchia, will miss Sunday’s match against Lazio. Angelo Palombo and Jacopo Sala return to the matchday squad list, however, having missed out recently.

Here’s the full 22-man contingent named by Montella for the 15:00 kick-off at Marassi:

Defenders: Cassani, De Silvestri, Diakité, Dodô, Pereira, Silvestre, Skriniar.
