Fernando: “This win boosts our morale, let’s do it again against AC Milan”

Fernando has praised his team-mates for their performance in the 2-0 win over Udinese on Sunday, calling for them to repeat the feat when AC Milan come to town this weekend.

The Brazilian midfielder scored Sampdoria’s second goal against Udinese, sweeping home a flowing move by Antonio Cassano and Fabio Quagliarella to notch the third goal of his Blucerchiati career.

“It wasn’t easy to beat Udinese,” Fernando told Samp TV after the game. “This win boosts our morale and gives us a bit more security going into our remaining games. We’ll try to do it again against AC Milan.”
