22-man squad called up for Udinese: Alvarez included and Palombo returns
Sampdoria rounded off their weekly training schedule with a morning session in Bogliasco – their last before Udinese’s visit to Marassi.
Vincenzo Montella and his coaching staff oversaw a warm-up followed by technical and tactical drills, plus training games and set-piece practice.
While Carlos Carbonero is still in Barcelona working on his post-op rehab, Pedro Pereira and Jacopo Sala pressed on with their individual training programmes.
Mattia Cassani and Joaquin Correa are both ruled out of the Udinese game through suspension.
Here’s the 22-man squad selected for tomorrow’s game:
Goalkeepers: Brignoli, Puggioni, Viviano.
Defenders: De Silvestri, Diakite, Dodo, Moisander, Ranocchia, Silvestre, Skriniar.
Midfielders: Alvarez, Barreto, Christodoulopoulos, Fernando, Ivan, Krsticic, Palombo, Soriano.
Forwards: Cassano, Muriel, Rodriguez, Quagliarella.
