Krsticic returns: “Happy to come back, fantastic result and performance”

Nenad Krsticic returned to the Sampdoria starting line-up for the first time since December 2014 on Sunday as the Blucerchiati secured a 1-1 draw with Fiorentina in Florence.

“I’m delighted to get back in the starting line-up,” the Serbian midfielder told Samp TV after the game. “That said, I’m most happy about the performance and the result. We had to pick ourselves up after a poor home defeat but we’re satisfied with this draw with Fiorentina. I’m sure we can do well against Udinese too.”
