Sampdoria return to training at the Mugnaini, double session on Wednesday

Vincenzo Montella’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Tuesday morning after the Easter festivities.

With youngsters Giedrius Matulevicius, Giacomo Calo, Leonardo Serinelli and Andres Ponce bolstering a group still missing the international contingent, the Blucerchiati kicked the session off in the gym before moving onto some technical and tactical drills (first with their hands, then their feet – check the video below!). Finally, the session was brought to a close with some shooting practice and a minimatch.

Angelo Palombo continued his personalised training programme in the gym and out on the pitches, while Carlos Carbonero is still in Spain working on his own rehabilitation.

Montella has scheduled a double session for Wednesday.
