Technique and fitness work in Bogliasco on Thursday

It was business as usual for the bulk of the Blucerchiati today, with a sizeable international contingent still missing but U17 pair Alex Pastor Carayol and Filippo Olian partially making up the numbers.

Vincenzo Montella had his depleted squad run through a varied programme of drills, alternating technical exercises and fitness work with some training games.

Things are much the same on the injury front. Angelo Palombo continues to have treatment for his back pain while Fernando Lucas Martins and Nenad Krsticic push on with their personalised training programmes. Lazaros Christodoulopoulos missed today’s workout with flu.

A single training session is planned for Friday, when the lads will meet in the morning.
