Group training at the Mugnaini. Field work resumes on Tuesday afternoon

Sampdoria were straight back to work at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini in Bogliasco this morning, with five players away on international duty. President Massimo Ferrero, lawyer Antonio Romei and sporting director Carlo Osti all attended the session.

The players who featured against Chievo worked on recovery on the pitch and in the gym. The rest of the squad, bolstered by Primavera men Giedrius Matulevicius, Giacomo Calò, Leonardo Serinelli and Andrés Ponce, had a regular session on the main pitch.

Angelo Palombo had physio and treatment, while Carlos Carbonero continues his post-operation rehabilitation off-site. Mattia Cassani was given the day off.

Vincenzo Montella will run another training session tomorrow afternoon.
