Alvarez exclusively to Samp TV: “Sampdoria is a fantastic club”

Quick thinking and fleet of foot since a young boy, Ricky Alvarez always knew what he wanted to do as a career.

The Argentine forward has given an interview to Samp TV in which he spoke about his childhood and outlined his motivations for joining the Blucerchiati in the January transfer window.

“Ever since I was a kid, I was fixed on the idea of becoming a footballer,” Alvarez revealed. “My favourite player was always Riquelme, he was an extraordinary talent.

“A few clubs were chasing after me in December, but when I found out Sampdoria were interested I didn’t hesitate for a moment. I asked my agent to secure the deal immediately.”
