Quagliarella strikes again: “We’re more consistent, now let’s beat Chievo”

Fabio Quagliarella is Sampdoria’s man of the moment. And then some. Three goals in his last four games have capped performances full of creativity, flair and defensive cover. Quaglia is a force of nature, it’s just a shame his latest strike didn’t secure maximum points.

“We are a little disappointed they came back,” revealed the forward. “However Empoli wasn’t an easy place to come tonight. We played a good side and have shown consistency in our results. Seven points from three games is a big effort. We play Chievo at home before the international break and we’ll try to beat them.”
