Samp scouting team visits Bogliasco, afternoon session on Thursday

Sampdoria were back at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini on Wednesday morning to continue their preparations for Saturday’s visit of Hellas Verona. Vincenzo Montella and his team took the Blucerchiati to the upper pitch, where they warmed up before working through a series of technical and tactical drills and some practice games.

There were some special guests watching on from the sidelines in a sunny Bogliasco, with sporting directors Carlo Osti and Riccardo Pecini joined by scouting coordinator Fabio Papagni and the Samp scouting team, who were visiting for a workshop.

Carlos Carbonero was absent as he continues his rehabilitation from injury in Barcelona, while Dodo stayed home with flu-like symptoms and David Ivan and Jacopo Sala continued working on their recovery plans at the training ground.

The squad will train on Thursday afternoon behind closed doors.
