De Silvestri and Moisander with the group, afternoon session and press conference on Friday

Sampdoria continued preparations for their trip to Inter on Saturday with training on the upper pitch at the Mugnaini on Thursday afternoon. Lorenzo De Silvestri trained with the squad for the second day running, while Niklas Moisander also joined up with the group.

Besides Carlos Carbonero – finishing his post-op rehab in Barcelona – and Pedro Pereira (undergoing physio), the coaching staff were also without Modibo Diakité and Jacopo Sala, who continued their respective recovery programmes.

Vincenzo Montella will hold a press conference at noon tomorrow (media access from 11:45). The players will train behind closed doors after that before setting off for Milan.
