Moisander nears return to full training, news conference and final session on Saturday

Vincenzo Montella’s Sampdoria squad had their penultimate training session ahead of Sunday’s match against Atalanta on Friday afternoon.

While the majority of the Blucerchiati – including Djamel Mesbah and Christian Puggioni – focused on technique- and tactics-based drills and practice games, Niklas Moisander stepped up his individual training program in view of an imminent return to the group.

Lorenzo De Silvestri and Modibo Diakite continued working on their recovery plans, while Carlos Carbonero and Jacopo Sala received treatment.

Montella will speak to the press on Saturday at 11:45 CET (media access from 11:30 CET; follow it live on Twitter and Samp TV), with the squad having their final workout that afternoon.
