Sala raring to get Samp career off the ground

Jacopo Sala can’t wait to get going at Sampdoria after completing his move from Hellas Verona.

“I’m delighted to be here at this great club,” the midfielder told Samp TV. “President Ferrero and Vincenzo Montella really wanted me here.”

Though still young, the 24-year-old has already acquired a wealth of international experience having spent time in the Chelsea academy before joining Hamburg in Germany.

“I was lucky enough to have some great experiences as a youngster. Now I’m here and ready to do my bit for a team with some fantastic players. I can’t wait to get started.”
